Premise[]
In the year 2199, the human race is in danger of extinction by "planet bombs", deadly radioactive meteorites which are launched by the enemy Gamilons. In a last-ditch effort to save the earth, the world leaders decide to send a ship - the Argo - to go to the distant planet Iscandar. Queen Starsha of the planet Iscandar offers earth the Cosmo DNA, a device capable of counteracting the radiation being used to destroy Earth. She also sends directions and instructions on how to build the Wave Motion Engine and the Wave Motion Gun, both assets that are used to modify the Argo for space travel beyond the speed of light and to defend it during the journey. However, there is a time limit on how long they can take, because from the time they set off, Earth only has 365 days left to survive.
